logan Ward
Logan is motivated to find solutions. While completing his BFA in Illustration at UMass Dartmouth, he studied the power of pairing visuals with writing. This began with conceptual illustrations that could be used Op–Ed, and then for his senior thesis he created cartoons in the style of The New Yorker.
After graduating he spent a year as a Scenic Carpenter before he decided to go back to school to learn journalism. As of August 2024, he now has an MA in Media Design from Emerson College. Logan accredits the Media Design program for giving him the tools and much of the information that ended up informing his documentary, Remarkable: Voices from the Trans Community. This documentary began as his master's thesis and has ended as a passion project which he continues to finalize post–graduation.
Logan believes that every idea requires its own medium, and that we all have something to teach. His experience with drawing, painting, building, writing, and filmmaking, allow him to convey each idea using the most effective medium.
